Description

"I'm sure this is all a big misunderstanding; we'll all laugh about it tomorrow, you'll see!"

Name: Carlyle Faust
Age: Nineteen
Generation: 3rd
Birthplace: Washington, Louisiana
Species: Dog (Pomeranian)

Small Bio:
- Carlyle was born in Washington, Louisiana but he didn't get to stay there for very long; his father had left him and his mother while he was still a baby, but his mother took it in stride and kept pushing forward.
- At the age of four, Lyle and his mother moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he attended school and made friends; they were somewhat poor and lived in a rough neighborhood, his mother working two jobs to support him.
- At nine years old, his mother was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and they moved to Memphis, Tennessee in order for her to find a job that was easier to handle.
- Lylye's mother tried to abstain from going to the hospital, but her cancer progressed to the point where it was no longer deniable, and she was admitted one afternoon after work; the stress she put on her body had caused her to quit her job and stay long-term.
- At thirteen Lyle lost interest in school and dropped out; he joined his first gang shortly after, pairing up with a couple of friends from school and moved to Detroit, Michigan for the fun of it without telling his mother.
- In Detroit, his gang split apart and he joined a new one called Fifth Inquisition where he was taken in with open arms.
- Carlyle spent years earning everyone's trust, so much so, that when the gang leader Jae had to temporarily step down due to an injury, he made Lylye the new leader while he was recovering.
- During his time as leader, Carlyle's gang happened to come upon one of their rival gangs, the Russian mafia. It was during a serious turf war that Carlyle met Hayden Cage.
- Cage, underestimating Carlyle's abilities, was unable to gain the turf he wanted, and ever since then he has hated Carlyle for embarrassing him, for lack of a better term.
- Before the two could fight out their problems, Carlyle was sentenced to his second time in prison; while there, he joined a prison gang PureBreeds (which is the equivalent of white supremacists in prisons; they only accept purebred dogs into their group, and believe that muts, which is an offensive slur term, should not exist). Lylye didn't exactly agree with their methods or theories, but he needed protection while making his time.
- Soon enough he was able to break out of prison and go into hiding until things cooled down; however, while still in the midst of hiding, Lyle came in contact with a very unhappy Cage.
- Taking advantage of the situation, Cage shot Carlyle in the chest with every intention of killing him.
- Although he was left in the streets, bleeding and with a hole in his chest, Carlyle managed to miraculously live after being rushed to the hospital.
- It took many months to recover, and while there, Lyle began to rethink the poor decisions he had made in life and how he wanted to change himself for the better. He had finally gotten sick of being in a violent atmosphere, so instead of returning to his gang, Carlyle escaped the hospital before he was discharged, and took the first bus ticket back home to Lousiana.
- It wasn't long before he realized he couldn't quite make it on his own in a new state, with everyone believing him dead and no identity to fall back on; that's when he sought the help of Madam, who gave him a new identity to go off on...again and again and again.
- Finally, Carlyle felt at home in New Orleans where he believed he would live a peaceful, new life--that is until Cage discovered he was still alive, and even worse, discovered about his mother's medical state. ((Happy ending ruined, courtesy of Levington Brams))
- Refusing to run anymore, Carlyle has set his foot down and still awaits the day where he will have to fight Hayden for possibly the last time in his life; until that moment comes, he wants to live his life to the fullest--in a more positive way.

Education:
- Dropped out of school at thirteen.
- Recently trying to earn his GED through online classes.

Specialty:
Ex-gang member

Relationship Status:
Single!

Extras:
- He loves to swim, and loves the smell of saltwater
- He has gone under several aliases, but his preferred name was Daniel Footypeg.
- Carlyle has a high tolerance for pain; it takes a lot for him to show any actual sign of disdain when in pain.
- The only reason Madam looks after him is because he's cute.
- He has a terrible spicy tooth.
- Carlyle has a slow, southern accent, however, it's authenticity isn't clear; since he was born in Louisiana but was raised in different states, he might only be faking his accent (or pulling it out) in order to pass as a native southerner. Sometimes he'll just let it slip away while speaking.
- Lyle knows he's cute, and uses it to take advantage of people quite often.
- He's been to prison three times, but arrested several times.
- He's lived in several cities in Louisiana within a short time span of months (because he's always getting into some sort of trouble).

Defects:
- Inability to control his bad habits, such as petty theft or disrespect towards police officials.
- Inappropriately friendly (as in, he was supposed to be in hiding, living a hermit life as Madam had instructed, instead he was off making friends and making a spectacle of himself.)
- Potty mouth >:T and a bit tactless.
- Even though he doesn't agree with the racist views of his prison gang, some of their segregating thoughts/ideals have rubbed off on him.

Inspirations:
- ____ for voice
- Tom Odell for face inspiration
- A very general fashion. A lot of patterns for his shirts, not many graphics.
*I know this goes without saying, but I'm going to say it anyways: I DO NOT promote gang violence, gang affiliation, or anything of the like. I don't think it's cool or fun to be in or join a gang or choose to live a violent lifestyle of any kind (this goes for any other OC, not just Carlyle). The decision of my characters' backgrounds and lifestyles is merely a reflection of real situations/dilemmas/or personal choices that I wish to convey through pragmatic storytelling*

This isn't my best Bio...there's definitely a lot more to tell, but I'm still going through the works of it and I don't want to bore everyone with a load of details. This is long enough as is. LOL.

What exactly is this perversion meant to do with either Carlyle's translation of, or critical essay, on Faust? Quit glutting up google.
